Not much time to work today, but I used some down time to begin finishing the resin pieces I recieved. Using a fine (400 grit) sandpaper, I was able to get rid of the left over resin and ridges that are on the Holoprojectors.
One had an especially large ridge around the threads, so I had to be careful not to damage the details. Below are the before and after photos.
Using small dental tools, I was able to remove the powedered resin and maintain the detail in the threads. While waiting for parts, I can take my time and really make these things look awesome.
